I just started working out a month ago, some programs have me working 2 sets and some programs say 4 sets. What is the best number of sets. I'm a 28 year old male and my goals are set more on toning and a little weight loss for now. Thanks!
For a true beginner meaning never lifted before I would stay with 3-4 sets of any exercise and no more than 9-12 sets for any bodypart: example....chest 3set falt bench 3set incline 3sets flyes. done...hope that made sense...
