Hello everyone,
First I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Stan, I am a 27 almost 28 year old, 6'2", 207 lbs. I've been lifting off and on for the past 10 years. I've been in the US Army as a military police officer for the past 7 years, 5 years regular active duty, and the last two as an activated reservist. I am currentely stationed in Fort Drum, NY and am from NJ. I am also currentely going through the hiring process for Philadelphia, PA to become a full time cop. Which I should start my academy for in January. I have always played some type of sport since I was, well 6 or so. I have in the past 11 months become a dedicated lifter. I haven't made phenomenal gains in size, but none the less I have seen some drastic changes in my body stature. 11 months ago I was 195 lbs of flab and pot belly. Since then I have gained a couple inches in my arms, chest, shoulders, glutes, and hams. Especially my glutes and hams. I've recentely discovered the body part I thought was the weakest for me (legs) is actually the strongest. My buddy introduced me to old style squats, deadlift, etc. and thats what started my legs growing, but since then I had to give up free weight squats due to the fact I always seem to injure my lower back, even when I do correct form. So now I use the hack squat machine and the incredible thing was I started out with a max of 225 lbs, here recentely I have maxed out with 700lbs with 5 reps, seems my once pencil legs are now thickening out, and the weight I throw up turns even the big guys heads. Same thing with the leg press, on single station leg press I max out with 250 lbs per leg, with a sled I've gone to as much as 600lbs. I'm just really enthused about my progress and I know I'm hooked for life. Especially since I want to be a cop, need the strength for some of these fruitcakes out there.

I doubt you'll have any trouble from me, you live in NH and you work out so you release endorphins, happy people just don't go around killing people. (heard that line in legally blonde, my fiancee's favorite movie).
