Bigjdedona, I think I can give you some input, approximately 11 years ago, when I was a junior in high school I dislocated my shoulder. The doctor told me that I would definatly be off the first half of the football season, and further said it was up to me if I wanted to go back the second half of the season even though he gave me advice that I should not. He further told me that if it ever went out of socket again that I would have problems with it dislocating later in life. So I took his advice and sat the whole season off. Even now 11 years later when I lift heavy on my chest days or my shoulder days I get pain in my shoulder, depending on how heavy I lift some days I do not. Anyways, when it starts to hurt pretty bad, I call it quits for the day. The moral of this lil story is, train according to what your body tells you, listen to your shoulder, it is still in a weakened state so I would take it easy for a while on anything that requires the use of that shoulder. I would definatly slowly work up to heavy lifting again, keep in my till it strengthens again, it has the potential to pop out of socket again, which could be disastrous in a weight room.
