Hello people!! Great to be here...i'm new to this site but not new to fitness...i've been into running and spinning for awhile, but i thought that i should add some weight training to the mix so here i am!!
My question is, it was my understanding that to see any results, different muscle groups should each be worked at least three times a week...but according to my plan there are a couple muscle groups worked twice and everything else is worked once...is that really enough? Or are they starting me out slow because i'm new? i'm sure someone here knows - everyone seems so helpful!!
Nice to meet you all!!

Hi supergirl, once or twice a week works for me. It helps if you fill out your profile so we know what your goals are. Welcome.

Supergirl , there are muscle groups like abs that can be worked twice a week. There are others which will be partially worked more than once due to some overlap in the FT workouts. My FT workout called for lats and triceps yesterday and today involves chest and biceps. When you bench press, you use the tricep but that isn't the targeted muscle for that day.
As far as your profile, if you are saying you filled it out and it doesn't show when you post, I think there may be a poltergiest on this web sight because stuff like that seems to happen not infrequently.
