Every time I move my shoulder it makes a popping sound, whether it's up, down or when I grab something. It doesn't hurt 99% of the time so I don't feel the need to see a Dr, but now other people are commenting on the sound... what the heck is wrong and is there anything I can do to fix it?

I think this is normal...I hear them myself until I've had a chance to stretch and workout heavy.

What Robert said...Sometimes mine sounds like a ratchet wrench. My physical therapist told me that most noises aren't bad unless they hurt.

That's what I'm hoping, it's just annoying as hell! What are some good stretching exercises that might help?

Huney, read the topic in this section called rotator cuff screwed. There are some specific exercises there. Proper warmup and the stretching exercises are in the FT exercise program.
