I want my abs to show!

I can definitely feel them! They are there. But that damn layer of fat is still covering them up. Ok, I know my diet is fine...I work out my abs 2 times per week. And I am running 3 times per week for about 35-45 minutes. Am I doing the right things? Any suggestions on how to get rid of that little layer of fat?

I was always told.. "Abs are made in the kitchen, not the gym".. it is diet! Fat cells do not disappear..once you have them, they are there for life, unless you have liposuction! You can empty them, so to speak, through exercise and diet.. unused calories willbe stored as fat.. It is a balancing act.

I honestly think my diet is fine. I eat 5-6 times per day - protein at every meal. Minimal carbs throughout the day (and no carbs after 5:00 pm).
