You don't mention any resistance training, and for the entire body. Lean tissue buildup(muscle) will raise your metabolism and burn fat even while at rest. This is probably no. 1 above cardio even for fat loss. Fill in your profile please, we can help you more. Then do a fitness profile, and follow one of the excellent programs on this site. (For starters, all that cardio you mention you are not doing at the same time are you? If so, way too much. Cut that down and do resistance training(weights). And forget the Xenadrine, that stuff will do nothing for you. It is exercise and correct diet that works. Welcome to FT, glad to have you. Lots of friendly folks here to aid you.-------------- Great people never want it easier, they just want to be better! Ron |

First off resistance training is weight training. Please also fill in your profile(personal) so we can get a better idea of your goals, fitness levels, even male or female. I am assuming you are female right now. The weight training on all parts of the body given you will work best to rid you of your "saddle bags". See, if you build lean tissue (muscle) everywhere, the more you have, the more it raises your metabolism, and the more calories you can burn. (even at rest). Besides, you want that overall hard body don't you, if you just concentrate on lower, you can be flabby up top and harder from the waist down, and still not be pleased with your look, and not get the fat burning results you want either. And it will take much longer to achieve/realize your goals. Also, don't worry, you will not get "bulky" or anything from it. In fact we who try to have a very hard time doing this.
Spread your cardio out a bit, usually a 30 minute session is plenty of a standard cardio, and 12-18 minutes of a HIIT type cardio is sufficient(basically interval training). Vary these up so your body doesn't get too used to one thing, it adapts very easily and then the progress halts. 2 hurs of cardio at one time is way too much. Your body will actually learn to store fat in some areas as a survival mechanism. Cortisol is being secreted, and eating up muscle tissue for fuel, thus making your fat ratio even worse. ============ Quoting from idalfer: ============= -------------- Great people never want it easier, they just want to be better! Besides all that above, you cannot no matter how hard you try spot reduce. By working one area hard, this will not reduce fat there. Fat does not care where it comes off, it will come off from anywhere it wants. -------------- Great people never want it easier, they just want to be better! Ron |
