What kind of meals should i make?

Hello everyone, this is my first post on FT. I want to start my diet before i start to really work out. I Just quit drinking and I want to eat right for a few days and jog to get my system back into shape. I'm wondering if anyone had any good meals that i can get started with. Links or just ideas would really help. I'm 5'9" and 143 pounds. So let me see some information on what is good! thanks alot!

There are lots of posts in this forum. Scroll down and read any that look helpful. Lots of recipes and eating ideas. Just don't make toomany drastic changes right off the bat. Ease yourself into it. A good place to start is in finding out your caloric goal for each day and your level of activity. Try using the FT nutrition planner to get an idea. Good luck.

Hi str33t,

Congrats on the drinking. Just wondering if you had a problem or just quit for self betterment? It could affect your diet. The withdrawals are easier to deal with when you eat some sweets now and then. This is counter to what you will probably hear here, but it could help.
