Hi! I have a quick question. Recently, I lowered the weight and upped the reps whilst doing seated calve raises (3sets of ten at 65lbs. to 3 sets of 25 at 45 lbs). Two problems arose from this: first, the next day my calves, especially above the ankles, hurt really bad and whilst performing the exercise I would find my feet moving backwards until they fell off the platform causing me to have to readjust them into the proper position. Clearly, I'm doing something wrong. Would anyone have any idea as to what that could be? Thanks!

Try slowing down, and maybe buy new shoes...you may have no traction...if that's not an otion rub some liftin chalk on the bottom of them.

Put the ball of your foot on the little platform, and secure the brace across the knees just so your kneecaps are sticking out in front of it. This should have your lower legs exactly perpendicular to the floor. Now, raise up just the ball of your foot to your toes as far as you can, and lower your heel coming down just under the lower platform. This will give a good stretch. The seated calf will work the lower and outer part of the calves.
