Hello everyone, I am new to this place as well as to weight training which is why I am trying it out. I'm about 150lbs 6' tall - one of those meditation and yoga guys, which is cool until I recently got a job in the trauma unit of a hospital and realized my yoga practice isn't gonna help me moving around people bigger then me (most of them) like I need to to make sure we are both safe... so here comes the weight lifting.. Any responses welcome -

Hey there Lucid. We can certainly help you up your lifting ability a bit. We don't want you dropping patients on the floor now do we? One thing instantly comes to mind with your intensive lifting requirements.. be sure not to overlook your back muscles. They will certianly be put under considerable stress. Good luck!
