Hey I use to wonder that same thing, but all you have to do is an exercise that is a curl. The only thing that you are curling is your wrist. You can do this exercise while sitting in a chair or standing up. Just bring you fist toward your fore arm (you can feel it on the backside of you fore arms even without weights, but the weights will increase muscle size

There are "isolated" forearm exercises here at FT. You can also try a search on an exercise called "Thor's Hammer."
Good luck!

go there. i suggest the barbell behind back wrist curl and the reverse barbell wrist curl for best results.

Any hand strenghing tools will also do the trick. Go to WWW.massagewarehouse.com and look for something called"Power Putty"
Its worked for me...

1.Hammer curls - These are thought to be only for biceps, but an incline or straight seat hammer curl with the palms facing in (nuetral) position is an awesome forearm worker.
2. Reverse barbell curls
3. reverse seated wrist curls
4. Standing dumbbell wrist curls(these are great also)
And as JMLCMT mentioned, hand strengthing can do wonders. Your grip normally gives out before anything, such as with reverse curls when you are trying to do heavy weight.
