Hello!
Just wondering about something.. If I weight train 4 times a week (a program from this website), and then my cardio classes include a 1/2 hour total body condiotionning exercises, does that become too much weight training..
If that is in any way confusing I apologize.. Basically I want to know if it's ok to include a body sculpting class if I'm also doing weights the previous day...
thanks!!

usually the bodysculpting classes use fairly light weight with high reps, so it is more endurance and cardiovascular training. You could probably handle that, but I wouldn't recommend it if you are trying to add mass.

I used to be extremely overweight. I have since lost the weight but have a lot of loose skin. What is the most effective way to lose this extra skin. I am currently following the 12 week mass gain program and have included cardio as well. Any advice would help. I currently weigh about 167lbs, but would ideally like to put on about 7-10lbs of muscle.

Adding muscle will help 'fill out' your skin, and with time it should 'shrink' a little, but if you have lost a dramatic amount of weight, you may have to consider surgery to take some excess skin off.
I can't remember the amount of time, but I believe you should weight a year before considering surgery to see how much your skin will tighten up on your own.
I also think there is some merit in firming lotions, I used them as I dropped my weight and i felt they helped.(At least my skin was in good condition and looked better than if I hadn't used the lotions).
Eat a clean diet, continue to push yourself in the weight room and don't overdo the cardio if you are trying to gain mass, you will get results!

Once again a reference to firming lotions. Are we talking about the ones advertised in muscle/fitness mags with a very high price tag? Or something we might find at our local drugstore? This has been asked before, but no specifics have been given that I know of.

No, I used Jergens and St Ives, both inexpensive, available at kmart or target or walmart.
The high priced ones usually contain vasodilators which will release subcutaneous water and make your skin appear smoother, or tingle, or whatever.
The ones I used are just skin conditioning, and when you put lotion on everyday you massage the areas, which brings circulation in and helps eliminate waste from the area, which in turn can help get rid of fat, theoretically.
If nothing else, lotion does make your skin smoother, which looks better.
