I recently came across an e-book written by Pete Sisco (who has co-authored & edited several other books for IRONMAN.) His latest combines 2 workouts:
Workout "A" is strictly one devised of HIT/Power Partials 2x per week, 2 day split. He advises to do such for one month then gradually increase rest days in-between workouts to a point of 10 days rest between until you cycle to Workout "B".
Workout "B" is devised of Static Contraction which you would cycle to after 6 weeks of workout "A". It involves the same schedule as above. Then cycling after 6 weeks back to workout "A" (HIT/Power Partials)
Does anyone have any thoughts or experience in either method of training?
