Supplements can be a great aid with your health and fitness goals. Combined with the proper exercise and nutritional plan they can be quite effective.

I couldn't afford my protein over the last several months, but kept up the working out...I came down from 193 to 182 and lost strength. Now I've got it again and I'm doing the CLA (as opposed to taking it during loss, using it for lean gain as advised by bbfit) but I've seen with mine own eyes the importance of protein and creatine.

Wait til next summer...I'm gonna be buffarific. :D Gotta post new pics soon :D

Probably telling something you already know but another thing to keep in mind is that protein powder may be the most convenient but when money's tight there are other cheap sources that will do you just fine. That lowly ol' egg has some good protein and a dozen of them are pretty affordable.

Mojo I'm not back in the saddle yet. I hope to get there one day. The gym is still a good distraction for me, and I can't stand the thought of wasted effort over the past 15 months.

Additionally, I've run out of resources to pay my attorney so now I get to play lawyer in my own appeal for custody. But they ain't messin' with no average Joe when it comes to courtroom angles, so I hope they're ready for a battle fit for CourtTV ;)

Glad to hear you are getting things back together. And you are right to use the CLA while gaining. Keep in mind it must be used with carbohydrate in your meal, or it will be oxidized.

Thanks bb1fit...I didn't realize it needed to be with carbs, but luckily, I've been taking it with my protein shake (made w/skim milk) or my evening meal, so those have some carbs. I'll up them now if there aren't enough.
