I've lost almost 30 pounds so far and am experiencing very itchy skin in patches. Has anyone else had the same happen. Or am I looking at the wrong reasoning for the itching.

Not an expert on this emmy but is the majority of your itching coming from the areas where you dropped the 30lbs?

This in addition to my last post.
The only reason I ask is because after my wife had all three of our kids(at seperate times mind you) she experiend itching where she dropped the weight from being pregnant.

If you've cut back a lot on fats, you may have cut back too much on the essential fatty acids. A deficiency in these GOOD fats could cause dry, itchy skin.
Salmon, almonds, avocados are just a few places to gets these EFA'a. I've also found that Udo's oil is a great supplement.

Water intake is very important, one of the major causes of itchy skin, dandruff, etc.
Also if you use a water softner in your laundry, try elimenating it. You might get a surprise!
