I can't answer your question, but I'd like to know too. I eat a couple a month, usually in a shake.

A peach is a peach.
They are just good food.
Why wouldnt they be?

Here is a question for you:
What is a better choice for a snack? A candy bar or an apple?

APPLES! They are the bomb when they are in season!
Jxlynxli - I looked up nutritional info on peaches - not a whole lot out there, but they are a good source of Vitamin C and B-3, and they fall in the category of orange colored foods , which are good for boosting the immune system.
Any natural food is good and can be worked into your nutritional plan (unless you are on a specific pre-contest diet).
I think the key is to eat a wide variety of healthy fruits and vegetables, whole grains and lean proteins.
Peaches are great when perfectly ripe, excellent thrown into your protein shake, good with cottage cheese.

1 small peach (2.5 inches across) is 37 calories and 9.7 g carbs. An apple of a similar size is 81 calories and 21.1 g carbs. The apple, however has twice as much fibre. If you're watching carbs, I'd go with the peach.
