Hi, I'm new and just starting my workout and nutrition plan tomorrow. But I have one question regarding my calorie intake. I'm supposed to have around 2626 calories consumed a day, but how would I best break that down through meals? Like how many best for breakfast, then lunch, and so on. Thanks for any help peeps. Here's the rest of my diet plan if it helps any. Thanks for any and all help you can provide.
Calories- 2626
Protein- 169
Carbohydrates- 423
Fats- 32

Your message is just exactly like mine even down to going to start tomorrow. I questioned the calorie total. No way can I eat that much, I'd gain weight. It does appear low carb which is ok as I believe I am addicted to carbos.

Without knowing your weight and your exercise routine it is hard to answer these questions. The carb numbers on here are high, 300 is probably closer. Are you trying to lose or gain? I answered this question last week for someone. Try eating 5-7 meals/snacks. Breaking them up evenly is the ideal, but not easy to do. Divide your totals by the number of meals you are planning. For example 2600 by 6 = 434 calories per. Use that as a guideline. Being consistent is key in your eating plan.

donna-You can eat that much and lose weight. If you are working out hard with weights for an hour that is about 400 calories burned. Add on 30 min of cardio and there's another 200 or so. Now you are down to 2000 calories and that is not counting cals burned through normal every day living. Most of us are trying to lose weight by starving and that will never work in the long run. Plus it takes more calories to feed your muscles, so as you pack on the muscle you will need to add more calories into your diet.
