Hello, I was wondering if any of you guys might know, how many pounds would an inch of muscle would weigh compared to an inch of fat? I trying to figure that out, that way I know how much heavier and getting gaining just an inch of muscle and how much ligther losing an inch of fat. Maybe, it's a silly queston-but maybe it's not--just wondering. Thanks.

That would be difficult to judge, but remember that muscle weighs more than fat. This fact often freaks out people trying to lose weight. If you are burning fat and building muscle, you may see your bodyweight increase, even though your waist for example is getting smaller. For those who are overfat, as opposed to overweight, this is a good thing. In other words, packing on an inch of muscle would increase your bodyweight more than losing an inch of fat would decrease it.
The bottom line is that what's important to your health and physique is your body's proportion of muscle to fat, which the scale alone can't show you. Without having your body composition tested, if you like what you see in the mirror, then your program is probably working.
If you want to see what a pound of muscle looks like, and I'm not trying to be sarcastic here, ask the butcher for a pound of the leanest meat he has.
Keep pumpin'
