Hey everyone, New here and this sight looks to be very helpful. My question is, how often and how long do I do cardeo? I am doing weight training but confused on how much cardeo??
Hi Shanxx and welcome to freetrainers. From reading your profile I would suggest you start off doing the cardio for 5 minutes, and then each time increase the time as you feel comfortable. MAke sure you don't get your Heart rate too high.
The proper way to figure your max and min HR is to take the number 220 minus 35 (your age)=185 so, 185 is your max hr.
when doing cardio try to not go past 85% of your max and stay above 60%. As you get more conditioned it will take longer to get your HR up.
