I was wondering if I should do high reps and low weights one week, then heavy weight and low reps the next week. I want to tone up and build mass. Would this help, or should I just stick to one or the other?

Changing your routine is good, but I think changing it every week is a little extreme. You don't say how long you have been at it or if you are new. Most programs last about 8-12 weeks and then change. If you want to put on mass, high weight and low reps seems to be the way to go. Pick the mass gaining program that FT offers. A lot of people have done it and say it is good. Good luck.
