Hi all! I'm Jerry(43,m)I have been workin out at home for about a year, since i quit smoking. For my mid-life crisis I decided to lift and get my body in the best shape it's ever been. I seem to have a problem with the idea of gaining weight to get bigger. Is there a way to get chisled like a greek statue (zeus) without getting fat first and then having to burn that off?
Secondly it’s down to the right mix of cardio & weights. I think!!! (someone put me straight if you feel the need) If you haven’t already fill in your profile and FT will give you options of what you want to achieve. You can get that chiseled look by doing the weights and cardio, you don't have to get "fat" first and burn that off.
Start from where you are, and like ChanceDog said cardio and weights, I would also add to that a good clean diet with the proper amount of calories. To get that look that you want you would have to drop your bodyfat to around 10%.
