I haven't ever heard anyone say that eating the same diet every day is bad for you. Boring yes, bad no. It is easier and more cost effective to eat that way, in my opinion.

The answer to that one could be a yes or a no. It's not necessarily bad for you but unless your daily intake includes a wide variety of foods, you may not be getting the vitamins/minerals needed to give you the optimum growth. I have a friend that's convinced she's getting everything she needs from her four servings of vegetables, two of fruit, and four protein servings. Sounds pretty good on the surface but altogether those 4 vegetable servings is a total of 8 green beans, her 2 fruit servings is an apple cut in half at each serving, and her protein is 1 chicken breast spread 4 meals. She can't figure out why she's not losing body fat. We did convince her to take a multi-vitamin so maybe there's some help. :)
