Hello All, i am a 55 yr old woman who is tired of being fat and not looking nice. so in Sept. i joined a health club and i love it but want to make sure that i am getting a complete workout. I mainly do treadmill, either the cardo or weight loss program on it and then might ride the bike or do weight toning .......So far i have lost 10lbs and my clothes feel loose so for that i am happy about, now i am a diabetic, have high blood pressure, suffer from ulcerated colitis, aniexty, so therefore i am on loads of meds. can anyone suggest a complete workout for me and oh yes i have had a knee replacement so am limited in that department
help me please!!!!!!!!!!!

workoutmom, congratulations on a good start. I have read about others here who have improved their diabetic situations with the diet and exercise. Personally my cholesterol and blood pressure have improved . The beginner workouts here should be a good place to start. Pick one that suits your goal, clear it with your doctor and go for it.

I think some of the progress other diabetics and hypertensives have made here will show up in a fit buddy search.

Good luck

Workoutmom, LOL You will eventually be able to do the entire workout. You have to start slowly. Make sure you have your Drs blessing. The workout plan should be set up on a beginners level with fitness goals more so than heavy weight lifting. Overwhelming as it may seem at first you can do it if the Doc says ok.My wife made me laugh too the first time she saw hers. What exactly did you put in for your set up goals?
