I started my program on Monday and today I am in so much pain that I don't know it I can or should train today, My question is, is it better to try and do as many reps as I can today (which won't be many) or wait until my muscles aren't quite so sore?

Wait until you heal! Your muscles grow in rest. If you are in any pain, you need to wait until your muscles heal. If you exercise today in pain you are not doing yourself any favors. If you are just starting a fitness regiment, then give yourself a few weeks of light weights and less intense workouts, until your body adjusts. After about three weeks you'll find that the pain lessens and you can work out more. Good luck, and stick with it. PLUS, don't work out the same muscles 2 days in a row.

That's what azredhead told me too drew and it got a lot easier. hehehe I was doing more than what was on the list of what I was supposed to do each day 'cause it was breaking up legs one day then upper body the next ... I wanted to do all of it every day. Now that I broke it up it's a lot easier now. Doesn't hurt as much in between days. Well, at least when I do the upper body part it has the next day to heal because I'm doing the lower body part ... and vice versa.
