now that my football season is over, im starting to work out to become bigger and stronger for next season. my workout plan begins in 1 week and i was wondering what kind of supplements would be best for me, some of my friends take creatine blast, some cell tech, some mammoth 2500, others just protien, i was wondering what the best combinations are, i was thinking about taking creatine before my work out since i have heard it boosts how much you can lift and how long, then just a protien base post workout to help muscle recovery, can anyone help me out one what to pick or which combiniations work? or if anyone has a good website that can give me some information of various muscle/mass gaining supplements that would be great, thanks

I recommend going with the "big four," which is a little phrase I'm using to describe a discussion we've had here before...
Just about every serious body builder you will ever meet will be taking these staple items:
1. Protein Supplement (In the form of powder, RTD , or something else) such that they will ingest at least 1g of protein per lb. of body weight. If you are 200lbs, you need 200g of protein to repair that ripped apart muscle fiber, e.g. to gain muscle.
2. Creatine (Does alot for muscles, post-workout recovery, strength enhancement, holding water in the muscles, etc.)
3. L-Glutamine (Another post-workout blessing, for quick healing)
4. A well-respected Daily Vitamin or Vitamin Pack.
Start taking those with regularity unless it's advised against by your doctor. After you get into that lifestyle, with consistency, you can talk about tweaking. Fail to take those four, and you might as well forget big gains. I wish you alot of luck; and remember, football is as much mental as bodybuilding is nutrition.
