What are the best stretches to do before and after you do a work out? Any suggestions?
I need to especially stretch my legs. I've always had very tight tendons (I think they said) haha according to doctors in my legs. I had some awesome stretches I used to do at curves but I can't remember all of them. :( I always felt sooooooooo good after I finished the work out and did those stretches. |

How did you find curves? I checked it out once in my city and the girl who was answering my questions was HUGE! Not a nice thing to say, but it really turned me off. Did it work for you? I just didn't understand the concept of it all.......

Oh! Actually that's not a good thing. I was almost turned off by it too because the girl that was running the one I went to was real nervous when she was measuring me LOL but she was QUITE lesbanian. teheee! I think she had a crush! lol
Anyway... Curves is AWESOME. I don't know if other people will agree with me or not but I thought it was great. It's a 30 minute work out ... You go in and find a machine, and you do the work out on that machine 'till the music stops and says please go to the next machine, then you move along with everyone else and it gives you a great work out too. You go around twice and then they have stretches for you to do that are wonderful! I felt the best I've ever felt after I finished my workouts there. Unfortunately, we had signed me up for a membership and 2 weeks after my membership started my boyfriend found out he was being layed off so we moved ... They were really nice about refunding my membership fee and letting me come in free 'till we left. They will let you come in a few days and try it out if you want. Go check it out. I think you'll feel pretty darn good afterwards. ;) It's not a REALLY hard work out or anything but it's very good for cardio and to do a little weight lifting. All of the machines are hydraulic so it's really only as hard as you make it I guess. :) |

Have you checked under the fitness resources section. Lots of stretches for each muscle group listed.

Ahhhh coolness! Thank you agamble. I didn't even think to look in there. I did find the Curves chart on ebay ... but I'd rather check out the charts on here. :) Thankies!

Hmmm...the Curves workout sounds like the circuit training program at the community college in my area. $13.00 for 3 months!

We have a community college where I live. Nice weight room and all sorts of gizmos and what nots. Have to sign up for the class though. Around 140.00 for the semester, fees and all. That's about the best deal around here unless you go to the fitness center to see the latest gym fashions and here the old war stories.

I was thinking about doing the ol' circuit workout at the community college by my house this coming spring just to change things up a bit. I got good results last time I went!

Hi mandalier. I found tons of them. I went to different sites and just looked up different types of fitness charts. Found a LOT of them. :) Just printed them off here and it's free. ;)
