Glutamine

dhahn Posts: 32 Joined: 2002/06/09	2003/11/21, 05:47 PM Is it just me or does glutamine have a bad after taste? I mixed in 5g with my protein drink and it tasted horrible. Has my glutamine gone bad? (It is AST GL-3) Just the taste makes me not want to use it.

Maybe mix it with a malto dextrin drink like Gatorade after your workout - I find I find it tastes okay that way. Is there an expiration date on your jar?

GOWAR Posts: 361 Joined: 2001/10/24	2003/11/23, 09:42 PM well what i do is i take , GNC's MEGA WHEY , which has 5 grams of glutamine and 3 grams of Branched chain amino acids , plus 40 grams of protein in it , and i think whatever flavor they sell it in tastes just fine.
