when i do hyperextensions, it really strains my back, and causes me to be in a bit of pain. i have had back problems in the past, but i don't think that is it?
could i be doing them wrong? where exactly does the pad need to be?
Never ever arch your back. Do it slowly and start with small sets of 6-8 reps. Be careful with your back and get somebody to help you in case of any doubt.
