Hey people whats going on??
I was wondering what you guys ans gals snack on before your workouts? I usually have a bowl of rice and some pineapple juice- it gets me goin! Thanks for any imput. Cheers, Rob |

1/2 Cup Oatmeal with Blueberries and 4 egg whites and 1/2 pot coffee. Welcome to FT-------------- I will lift my own weight someday!!!!! Lifted 135lbs on July 1, 2003, I did it!! It's a canned beverage almost citrus in flavour, Contains the following...
200mg astragalus....200mg ginseng....30mg ginko biloba.... 30mg guarana.... 120 cal, 32g of carbs from glucose/fructose. Gives me an extra 10 minutes on the cardio end of the workout. High carb/protein drink, and some fruit. Sometimes 1 cup coffee.
If you drink coffee b4 your workout, make sure you drink even more water than you normally would.. coffee wil dehydrate you. |

Extreme Ripped Fuel containing ephedra. I share the drink with my wife so we get half of the amount in the drink and a Detour bar to stave off hunger. But we workout at 4:30 or 5 am.-------------- The meek shall inherit the Earth, but the strong and muscular will carry them through it! That which does not kill me can only make me stronger. |

Here's my pre-workout shake recipe for my heavy training cycle:
2 cups of NF milk A powder with 52g of carb, 32g of protein, 2g of fat, plus vitamins/minerals, and other ingredients An additional 1/2 scoop of a blended protein, about 15g protein 10g of creatine 5g of glutamine -------------- Michael Trample the weak; hurdle the dead! Chaos, Panic, Disorder.... Yes, my work here is done! |

coffee IS BAD for you!!! Gives you a fast lift, then comes the crash. Plz dont drink it! Ephedra..my o my.. what are you doing to your bodies...:surprised: |

lol coffee but thats about 2 hours be4 I w/o....I usually w/o in the morning so I have a granolla bar or 2 then wait a coulple hours after i workout and eat cuz by then its time for lunch....

I blend 1 cup of oats,1 scoop of protein poweder and 2 tablespoons of fat free banana yogurt. Also I have a cup of coffee.

Hi Paul- Is that pre just a plain protein shake w/o the glutamine and creatine? Then the protein/glutamine/creatine combo for the post shake?

rafterq, Kind of a late response, but here goes.
Actually, I now use quick oats mixed with protein in water. I have the creatine first thing when I wake up on an empty stomach. Currently I do not supplement extra glutamine.
