Fill out your profile and let's get started; you're going to change your diet and get into a regular, consistent, permanent change in exercise. If you want to succeed at this, open your mind and get ready for some work! The folks here will help you get through, the right way, but nobody can hand you will and motivation.

Losing the weight is like Ogun says takes work and time, with a consistent diet of good nutrition, it is a long term thing that is a challenge to the mind and body...but if you have seriously gone about many of these attempts(when i say seriously im mean over a period of 3months or more, and smartly), and still have gained weight, then there may be an underlying problem and you need to see a physician about it. Because those that store weight around the midsection are at a higher risk for heart disease. You cant lose the weight untill you are ready to lose the weight...when you understand what i mean there you'll understand what it takes on your part...hope some of this helps...

Hi Astro, I know what you mean about the mid section but i am personally finding that my exercise is no problem...It's my diet that I am having problem with... you know that bad fat intake. But I am not going to give up on it someday, sometime my nutrition will be perfect. don't give up and all of these people here will help you. They have all been so kind and supportive of everyone here that it seems better than blood related family. Good luck and DON"T GIVE UP!

Remember this Ogun, "He who conquers himself is the greatest warrior" - Confucious
For me, losing fat is probably the toughest thing I will ever go through in my life as far as a personal challenge goes. You just gotta stay mentally tough and keep at it. If you fall off the wagon one day, then just make it one day, or that ONE meal that you cheated at, and get back at it. Its a lifetime task.
Remember, 3500 calories have to be burned off your fat before you lose 1 lb of fat. I wish that number was smaller, GOSH!
