Hello i have a problem with my calves bulking up super easy and i really dont want that (and no other part of me wants to bulk lol). Being female i am Longing to wear all those beautiful boots out there but none fit because of my calves. I do have some weight to lose but unfortunately i dont seem to have much fat on my calves so i can blame it on that. Any suggestions? I try not to train to heavy with them and i do lighter weight and higher reps but it doesnt seem to be helping. I look forward to your input. Thanks in advance

The only other thing I can think of is to stretch them! Do toe raises and go aaall the way and aaall the way down (stand on the edge of a bench). 4-5 sets of 20, three times per week for at least 4 weeks.
By stretching them this way, you'll be able to make them look longer and a little leaner.
There you should definitely be able to see a difference!

Being a girl w/skinny calves (wish they would grow to help make my thighs look a little more proportional!)...I'm jealous. So instead of trying to shrink them, why not look for boots that fit? J.Crew makes boots with a "fuller" calf, as does Liz Claiborne (I think, might want to check some dept stores).
Good luck!

J.crew has a website - www.jcrew.com/ I just checked and they do ship to Canada. They can be pretty expensive (I always get their stuff on sale), but it's all nicely made - not cheap.
