I am looking to build lean mass while cut excess body fat. I have taken the advice of the people on this site and have split my cardio days from my lifting days. I have also read that you should take protein/carb shakes right after lifitng. Can I use Creatine for this or should I stay away from it since it may impede fat loss? If I can take it, any recommendations on which brand and are there any lactose free brands?

Creatine will in no way impede fat loss. Take it with your post workout drink, but take right away as soon as mixed, best to take by itself, and then sip on your protein/carb shake after immediate injestion of half of it. The simple carbs wil assist in the uptake of the creaine.
