I know this is going to sound wierd, but ever since I've been little, I never eaten veggies. I get a gag reflex going when I attempt to eat one or accidently bite into one.
And when it comes to fruit, the only ones I eat are Bananas, apples, oranges, and some juices here and there. I want to eat healthy, but my choices are limited because of the "phobia" or whatever you call it. Can anyone help me? Like does hypnosis work to get over the fear of veggies? Is there supplements or something that would give me all the stuff I am missing from the veggies? Thnx!

That is weird. I mean no one liked to eat their greens when they were young, but to actually develop a gag reflex when trying to consume vegetables?
Well unless you are actually allergic to them, it is most likely a mental thing. I would just bite the bullet and teach your body and brain that veggies are good for you. You obviously taught yourself not to like them, so you will have to un-teach yourself.
Start by eating maybe on veggie a day, then work your way up to a dish and then entire meals until your body adapts. If you are not getting any veggies at all you should be taking multi-vitamins to compensate.

My wife has the same thing and it is weird but also a dangerous thing as she will actually choke and throw up if she say tries a lettuce leaf! My advice is to find a few ones that you can est and go from there that is what she has done since she met me.

I've found that I can only eat corn, other than that it's a no-go. But much like your wife I too gag and feel like chucking if I bite into lettuce. Does anyone know about if there are hypnotists that can cure phobia or whatever it is I suffer from? lol

I'm thinking about it, my cousin had to hire one to quit smoking, whereas I quit cold turkey and its been 2 yrs and 2 months since my last cig.
