ok rumor mill has it that you don't have to do all your cardio at once, you can do one mile in the morning, one in the evening, or 10 minutes here and 10 minutes there for a grand total of an hour. Any truth, my heart begs yes, my head says no.

All exercise is good - a 20 minute continuous period for cardio is common thinking for best benefit.

Continuous cardio is preferred. However, for someone who has not been active or has medical problems, it can be broken up. It all adds up and a little here and there is better than nothing.
