I have been doing pretty well at the program and have managed to lose weight. I see a nutritionist and he has me on 1200 cals a day (he knows my routine). However, for the past couple of weeks I feel like my energy and motivation are going down. Usually working out peps me up but I just feel tired now. Could i be over doing it? Not eating enough? Depriving too much?.....yes it could be that my husband is deployed but he has already been gone 10 months so I honestly don't think that is it.

Based on the prevailing wisdom here at ft (I'm certainly no nutritionist but there are some here that should be. They are extremely knowledgable on the subject.) your calories are way too low. Most everything I've read indicates that anything below 1500 is counterproductive causing muscle loss and slowing metabolism. See the problem here. When you reach your desired weight and begin to eat a little more all of your weight will return. For weight loss shoot for 12-15 calories per lb. of body weight. Divide your totals so that you get the proper ratio of p/c/f, then divide that into 5-6 smaller meals every 3 hours or so. Follow that for a couple of weeks, evaluate your progress and adjust accordingly. Your weight loss might be slower but it will preserve lean muscle, keep your metabolism up, and give you plenty of energy. Also take a one week break from exercise every 6 weeks or so. Just my thoughts.
