if you eat liver (pork liver) in specific can it harm you

The medical folks advise avoiding liver if you're pregnant due to the large Vitamin A content, but otherwise liver is perfectly fine and also contains a lot of iron. You could never convince my kids of that though. :)

I eat beef and chicken livers all the time. But you have to be careful about the iron. Males don't need extra iron as females do.

I never liked the taste, but the health benefits (minus the cholesterol) are great: heme iron, vitamin Bs, etc. If you want to avoid the "yucks" but still want the good stuff, try out Liver Tablets.

I have issues with eating organ meats especially when it's the organ that works as a filter...I'll pass.
