New to the site, still learning what it is all about, hopefully I can really get some useful information from it.

Actually I do have a question....give you stats first...I work out at least 5 days a week but no more than 6 days a week. I am at about 18% bodyfat, want to get down to about 14%, weight about 135 (usually 130 but holidays...excuses excuses), would like to get down to about 125. For the past three months, have been going at 5:30 am for at least 20 minutes of cardio and then again at lunch to finish any cardio (try to do about an hour a day) as well as my daily lifting. I was just told that I am doing way too much cardio...could that be true? And if so, why? Also, I usually take a multi vitamin, are there any supplements other than protein shakes I should be taking? I am on Spiru-Tein now, but usually take myoplex. And last question, how many calories should I be consuming a day? If I stay at 1500, I feel like I am making progress but read that I should be at 2,000.... which seems like an awful lot of food. Thanks for your help!!
