I've been working out on and off now for about 3 years. I'm 18 years old and with the abundance of information on weightlifting and nutrition I really just feel lost. I don't have the money to see a personal trainer so I'm hoping someone w/ a lot of knowledge in the field can help answer my questions. First of all I'm about 6', 240 a big built guy who would like to gain size while losing fat. I'm not completely worried about being absolutely ripped but I would like muscle development to be noticeable. During Christmas obviously it is difficult to get things on track so I would like if someone could give me a workout program that they think I would benefit from. As well, in the New Year I would like to go on some type of nutrition program and was wondering if anyone would be willing to put one together. I just don't like the program I'm on right now, and really need to drop some pounds as well as go into the gym w/ some energy so I realize it's a lot to ask but if anyone would be willing to give me a workout program that goes hand in hand w/ a nutrition program I would be extremely grateful. If someone does reply I have heard that u must change ur routine which for me is strange b/c I really dont like change I'm always goin' in to the gym on a set day to do the same thing so if u do send me a program please indicate when and which things I should change. Thank you very much, HAPPY HOLIDAYS.

Hmm right now I work out about 4 days a week. Program is as follows; Monday - Chest, Bi's and Tri's which for me seems to be too much in a day, Tuesday - Legs, Wed - off, Thu - Back, and Fri - Shoulders. As for diet, it's not very good and I don't eat 5 to 6 meals a day I think that's a big prob ....

That's a start...knowing your problem areas so you can correct them. As far as a workout, have you signed up for an FT mass program?

It is a tailor-made program based on your specific goals, current statistics and access to equipment. Go to "Exercise Program" and let the system walk you through creating a custom workout program.
Good luck!
