Hi i am starting Monday the 5th to diet and excersise. I really have not been one to lose weight. But in the past 10 years i gained 40 pounds. At the age of 34 i wish to be 165. I am tall and was really happy with that weight. The site has given me some THINGs to do 3 days a week and i think i can do them. Not sure it is going to look pretty doing them but lol Maybe sometime i will get better at it. One thing i noticed. I am not great at knowing how to excersise. So maybe this will help. I just would like any words of help you could send along. The food part i thin i am going to try weightwatchers. See how that works.
Thanks for listening GlindafromOz |

Well, it sounds like you have a plan. Good luck to you and remeber that yu can do any thing that you set your mind to do. The nutritional plan is an important part. I recommend freetrainers because it won't be as time consuming as counting points.

Hi Glinda and welcome to freetrainers.
You will find just by eating properly and getting support from here, to go along with your exercise routine, you won't need the Weight watchers. Shavonde hit the nail on the head...you won't have to count points. Good luck. -------------- "A will finds a way" Ivan Montreal Canada |

Besides, Freetrainers is free. I would recommend that you stay away from prepackaged food as much as possible. -------------- It's not what we eat or drink occasionally, but what we consume on a daily basis that determines our ongoing level o health. formerfatguy.com Not sure of author |

As far as looking good while you are exercising-I wouldn't worry to much about that. As you begin to perform the routines you will get the hang of it. Before you know it you'll be an old pro. Just remember to start slow, allow your muscles to get acclimated, and concentrate on using proper form. Check exercise resources here at ft or go to www.exrx.net. Good Luck

Follow the yellow brick road (LOL). Just remember that it's all about the calories...burn more than you consume daily and you'll lose weight. It's that simple, but hard to do unless you stay motivated and keep focused.
Good luck and update us on your progress... -------------- **_Robert_** Pain is temporary; glory is forever! |
