I'm half way through my 1st cycle of creatine and was wondering if anyone had any advice for retaining the bulk i've gained.......i've gone from 175lbs to 202lbs in three weeks. I've kept a diet of 250-300grms of protein per day with about 600 grms of carb....spread out over 5 meals with exception to my post workout protein shakes.
The question is do you loose (urinate) most of the gains away once you cycle off?.....If so does that mean to retain the "new" shape do you have to stay on it indefinitely?

Your max weight gain from creatine is usually about 2-4 lb. or so, I would venture to guess your other 23 lbs. have come from your diet. Creatine does little to make you gain weight itself, it increases ATP, which in turn makes you more explosive and able to lift more, which in turn should relate to gains in muscle. Creatine itself is not where your 27 lbs. came from.

If that were the case you wouldn't be able to buy it. It would be like pure gold. Sounds like you have your diet working for you. Excellent.

Thanks..That's what i thought, but i heard a few people (bench warmers and posers) tell me they lost everything they gained......Its reassuring to know i shouldn't evaporate (or drain away) once i cycle off.

I've just bought NO2. This one looks really interesting.....however it states that you need to cycle off creatine, wait 10 days begin the NO2 then if you wish, cycle creatine back on. Any personal experience with NO2.....if so is it effective?.....do i really have to cycle off Creatine....still got a few more weeks to go.

Cheers

Too bad you didn't do some research before buying your NO2. I think you will find something getting lighter now, your wallet.

Yeah, maybe i fell into the marketing blackhole, anyway I figured it was worth a shot, but at that price, it's a one shot deal.....21 days....we'll see. I'll double it up with whey, creatine and hit the gym hard....we'll see what happens next.
