Hello all,
Is it common to feel finme after a work out, but then 48hrs or so later have alot of muscle pain. I am wondering what can be done to help control this, or is this a genetic problem at my end.

Absolutely natural...there's so much involved with recovery. First of all...did you just begin training? Because the body needs some time to adjust to that stress of weightlifting. Be sure to be eating enough, especially after your workouts, this is where you need to take in your protein and nutrients. BCAA's(branch chain amino acids, found in most nutrition stores) help a greta deal with recovery as well. Overall diet is the key as well, you gotta have enough water, protein, carbs...FUEL! Start to read around on other posts and you'll see different diets. Look for responses from BB1FIT and the other moderators...they know their stuff. Good luck.
-------------- May the lift be with you.

as long as its nto joint pain then ur ok, give ur body a good 48hours or if ur new it might take a whole week to fully recover, like "J" said ur diet is the key plenty of water, protein, and carbs, and even some healthy fats....but we can'/t tell u the type of %'s u need cause ur profile isn't filled out, but if u are making working out a " lifestyle" then u need to eat 5 or 6 smaller mills a day( every 3 to 4 hours) to give ur body the proper nutrtion
