Ok, I have a feeling this is going to sound like a dumb question but I just want to make sure about it. When people take supplements and they say they have gained so many pounds in so many weeks are they talking about fat or muscle?

Is it possible that supplements will cause you to gain fat? I also saw someone mention water weight, what exactly is that?

If your supplement has Alot of fat and carbs, it won't help.
Look for numbers below .05 grams of carbs and fat. With protein being at 30 grams per scoop or higher.
Water weight would come from water retention, which can be caused by to much salt in the diet.
