I need help! I try to come up with three daily meals that will meet the nutrtion goals set for me. I always fall more than 50% short on kcals, protein and carbs everyday. Can someone help me to plan three meals that meet these requirements. 2,131 kcal, 320 carbs, 160 protein and 26g fat. Thank you

pink, you may want to consider 4 to 6 smaller meals a day. This makes it easier and speeds up your metabolism. It sounds crazy but its true and it works. Fill out your profile and tell us about yourself and your goals. it will help us to help you.

I try to eat 6 meals. Here is an example

Meal 1 (Breakfast)
*cereal
*boiled eggs

Meal 2
*fruit smoothie made with a little sugar and water and ice(wheat germ or protein can be added). Use at least 1 high carbohydrate fruit(such as a banana)

Meal 3 (Lunch)
*Tuna
*crackers
*raw vegetables that are good for dipping in tuna

Meal 4 (snack)-This is when I have my sweet craving, late in the afternoon
*milkshake made with milk, frozen yogurt(not ice-cream, fruit, wheat germ or protein powder

Meal 5 (dinner)
*chicken
*baked potato
*brocoli and cheese

It's not what we eat or drink occasionally, but what we consume on a daily basis that determines our ongoing level o health.

Charlie826 I have updated my profile. I am a 21 yr old female that weighs 160lbs. I am definatley not very healthy. I hardly get any exercise because of my job. Do you have any other helpful hints to helping me achieve my goal?

Get what exercise you can. Make time for it as though your life depended on it. Look at the FT home workouts. They use common household items to augment the exercise routine. I think there is a 20 minute one.

Did you notice anything about shavonde's daily menu?? There is very little processed food in it. As you stick to the diet suggestions here, you will learn which foods are the best of the best. But for the time being, the less processed food you eat the better. Try not to eat it if it is ready to eat from a box or a bag. Very few prepackaged foods are healthy. There are some but not many.

Another thing.. remember how long it took to get in the shape you are in. Be kind to yourself and don't get discouraged if you don't get results overnight. What you are after here is a lifestyle change that will last. You are doing the right thing. Do your homework , ask questions above all, stick to it.

Good luck,
