Here is one great way, I do this every contest training period. To hit that peak well, at the end of every bicep set you do, hold that weight in a static contraction for a count of 30. For instance, doing preacher curls, upon failure, hold that last rep in up position(not resting, where you go too far up), but at the peak contraction. Do this on every set of each and every bicep movement you do. Remember, 30 sec., you should feel an awesome burn.

does bicep peak not depend on the length, and shape of ur bicep? i though genetics had more to do with this that exercises?..........i mean look at arnolds biceps and say flex wheelers...........completly differnt looking arms

ANDREW, THOSE GUYS USE/USED MASIVE AMOUNTS OF STEROIDS! I agree with the genetics part though. I was dealt a crappy hand with genetics but after a few years of "peak-enhancing" bi exercises, I've gotten a pretty good peak. Then there are th guys who just look at weights and get awesome shape to their arms...not fair my friend, not fair.

You can work on your peak, but genetics play the ultimate factor in which part of your biceps will stand out. Some people build muscle easier at the bottom of their bicep creating a little buldge from there shirt, others develop midway up their arms....giving them naturally higher peaks!
Concentration curls might help with your search for a peak....but they won't be like Mt Everest unless your genetics say so!
