I've just started my workout plan and my arms are really sore. I haven't worked out in at least 6 months and then I didn't do it regularly. I was really trying to do all the reps but never made it. My arms just gave out on me. As in I dropped to the floor and couldn't do another. Did I do to much?

Well some will tell you you did the right things others
will tell you it was wrong. I have just started back also and train to failure. That way I know the muscle has been completly broken down! Good Luck!!

wel if u haven't worked out in a while and didn;t do it very wel to begin with i would suggest a lighter workout to get in shape to get in shape..... if that makes any since.........anytime some one starts to work out with me for the 1st time i always give them an easy routine of only 2 to 3 set per excercise no more that 2 excercises per body part and keep the reps in the 12 to 15 range. This is so there body gets acustomed to the work out and can get used to the range, motion, and movement, and usualy the weight is light enough where they can't get hurt....i do this for abotu 3 weeks to maybe 4 weeks depending mostly machines too by the way, u need to wrk on ur form and good posture before u really get into weight training i see so many guys and girls that don't know shit what they r doing and wind up hurting them selves
