Hello,
I am looking for opinions on the best whey protein shake to use. It's gotta be low carb with no more than 2 or 3 carbs per serving and sugar free. I am supposed to be eating 189 grams of protein a day right now and am having a hard time getting above 150g. Any particular brands or flavors taste better than others? Thanks so much for the advice, you guys are the best!

I like Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey, Chocolate flavor. 22g protein per scoop, less than 3g fat and 3g carbs. Tastes good and the price is right 5 lb tub (72 servings)for less than $35.00 at netrition.com. Good for post workout. I also mix with skim milk and have with breakfast.

I would not recommend Whey protein to meet your daily protein goals as it is readily absorbed by the body. Take it only post workout.
During the day, you'll need a good blend of protein sources (i.e. casein, milk, egg, soy, etc.). If you want to stick with a powder, look into MRPs...they should contain over 40g of protein per serving.

Thanks my friend suggested the exact same one. I am going to go get this one. Have you tried the Vanilla or Strawberry?

Go vanilla. In my opinion it is much better tasting the strawberry, thats unless you liked that strawberry syrup for your milk (You remember it: the one with the pink cow on the bottle. That stuff tasted awful, way to sweet.)
You can also mix more stuff with vanilla like bananas or orange juice if your not cutting (makes it taste like a Orange Julius).
-------------- - Its never about how much you can lift, or how many reps you do. Its just about doing it, and doing it right.
- If your hungry all the time, your not eating enough. And anyways, being hungry sucks.
