I have bought some of the mega whey because it delivers 40grams of protein per serving and the bcca's and glutamine. Is there a protein drink thats better that doesnt cost 69 for 5lbs. Also I take a multi vitamin 2000iu of vitamin e(d alpha), 2000mg of vitamin c, 600mg alpha lipoic acid, To an extent I would try some supplements but I prefer to stay as natural us possible. I dont need to screw with my body chemistry any more than i need to. Unless gamma radiation does work. -------------- I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. jwprieto23 Posts: 4 Joined: 2004/01/06	2004/01/09, 02:03 AM most of GNC products tell you to take more then you really need too exp.maga man= take 2 pills (just every thing in GNC you have to take 2 of)sure you can take 2 and get all those vitt.'s but unless your a big guy your body will get rid of most of it youll see it in your pee when its super bright yellow ...anyway about the protein look to see how many servings there are in that one bottle then go look others 70% of the time GNC brand has less 1 more exp. you know the weight gainer 2200 at GNC that comes in that big ass jug i got that stuff bring it home,turns out that thing only had 5 sevings in it and it wanted me to use 90g of that mixed with 3 cups milk got me sick,also GNC people will always push GNC brand b/c they make more money off of it,just a every one who works there KNOWS for a fact GNC brand sucks dont get me wrong the over all vitt's and hurbs are good...over priced but ok just the pro performance are not all that,designer whey is good nitro-tech is the best to me...set you back $70(at GNC shop around iam sure youll find it cheaper)

gsdkain Posts: 53 Joined: 2004/02/23	2004/03/17, 08:57 PM also, if you check the serving size on the GNC Mega Whey, it says 13.6 grams protein per serve, a lot less than what the front of the packaging says. The front packaging says 40 gm Protein, and 5 gms free form Glutamine and Some BCAA's, but the Nutritional Info on back says Serving Size 21gms, 13.6 gm protein and 1.67 gms of Glutamine, How does that equate to 40 and 5 I wonder. GNC go figure

You should always look at the serving size, but their 100% whey isn't that expensive and the serving size is one scoop. Its only 20g protein, but if you do the match, its not a very expensive protein powder. Optimum is a better deal, though. There are a lot worse deals out there, however. Also, you can save money by going through the internet for the GNC products too. Mike
