Hi everyone. I'm 13 and live in Virginia. I horseback ride all year round and in the spring (sometimes the fall) I play soccer. I try to jog/run about 2-3 miles once or twice a week. I'm trying to cut back on junk food, eat healthier and become more lean and fit. I have school from 8:00AM to 3:00PM. I know that you should eat 6 small meals per day instead of 3 large meals a day but that is hard with my schedule. Could anyone please give me advice on eating and excercise routines. Thanks a lot.

Try this scdule
Breakfast
Meal replacement drink
Lunch
After scool snack
dinner
protein shake are smoothy before bed

For one thing, switch to Basketball instead of Soccer (it'll make a man out of ya) Then do pushups, pull-ups and ab exercises every day and you'lle notice an improvement. Shaveondebrown gave some good dieting advice...... ohh and by the way I was just messin with you about the soccer thing

the Abs like any other muscle need rest and dont need to be worked out every day. Same thing with the push ups and pull ups. For soccer keep your weights light and reps high you need muscle tone. And for you cardio a little more would be good soccer is constant running so you need high endurance. Good luck

....and when u wanna play a real sport arondaballer, try football!!! HaHa just kiddin. But I agree with mmaibohm, your abs have to have time to recuperate just like all of your other muscles, and definitely do lots of cardio...I went and watched a soccer game this past year and man!! they are constantly running...looks pretty cool but it would be better if you could HIT!! haha just kidding again...Best of Luck SoccerBoy!! I played football too but my Fav in high school was track. I used to love throwing chunks of steel. lol

sorry messed up..........u need solid food in the moring nto a meal replacement drink, ur young and for soccer u need plenty of carbs for engery, so eat somthing liek some eggs wheat toast, oatmeal or somthing. breakfast is the most important meal of the day........as for the snakes get some proetien bars or stuff that don't nedd refrigerated......liek punut butter sanwiches, protein bars stuff like that.................by the way cheerleading is the real sport here guys! lol
