We're all getting too old to feel old caravan. :) My new job is takin' up more time than I'm used to and when I'm off, I've been thinning out 6 acres of scrub brush in my woods. Keeps me out of trouble anyway.

HI Guys
New to the list. I'm 58, was told last spring by my doctor I had to loose some weight, was at 263 with a 33.8 BMI. Started walking in the mornings, gradually introduced jogging (walk a block, jog a block). Was happy, by the fall when I could run in the mornings anymore because of darkness I was able to jog a mile and a half. With not being able to run took a cardio kick-boxing class that I just loved, which got me into taking a karate class. Just before Christmas passed my orange belt. Heres the problem, Even with doing CKB twice a week and karate 2-3 times a week I'm just not getting as flexable as I'd like to be. Any suggestions. Oh, and as far as weight loss I was able to drop to 243 but seem to be stuck there.

Well you know we women avoid this forum, cuz then we'd have to admit (ugh) our age. Not that I am over 40, I just came in to say that and see what goes on in here < wink and smile>.

Guess I'll at my bits and pieces....Just turned 48 (Jan 9) and I'm in better shape than I was at 30. I owe it all to exercise, diet and all the great info on this site.

Opps I hit the wrong button....and deleted my own message !! Yes I am still lurking around, garnering information. I guess I should share more often.
The weather has been so COLD I find I have more computer time. It is not enjoyable running around in this weather.
