after doing research and talking to people, it seemed as though the morning, right when you wake up is the best time for it, but all of a sudden I've heard a few claims that taking it right before bed is the best time. What do you think, or know? Thanks

I take it a half hour before a work out then again at bed time.

I must not fear.
Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it is gone past me I will turn to see fear's path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
Only I will remain

Probably the most optimal time of all is post workout....glutamine can become critical because your body may not be able to make enough of it. If enough glutamine is not supplied by the diet, then the loss of muscle tissue will provide the supply. At least 5 gr. is a good dose. Any other time is fine too, as before bed it is thought it may help with growth hormone. It really is one of those supplements you can't get enough of, especially so if you are dieting. If not dieting, you may be getting enough from your food sources and be ok. I only use it when dieting and calories are very tight.

hey, i just gotta question....will L glutamine make women all manly looking? I'm looking for that sleek, tone, ripped kinda look...not muscular chunky
I just don't know what it will support when you say muscular gains

L-glutamine is not a hormone of any kind, it is a naturally occuring amino acid(the most plentiful by the way) in the body.

Woman do not get that bulky manly look unless they are taking steroids. The female just isn't made up this way. Eat right and workout hard and you will have a sleek toned sexy body. The steroids are used by females to get big so they can compete in bodybuilding competitions. You will be fine.
